Lifehacker Over The Years
Lifehacker started off as a site that helped non-geeks get along with computers. With the now-famous “geek to live, don’t live to geek” motto, it provided answers, tips, and tutorials for software and online stuff—anything to do with computers.
The site’s transformation over the past couple of years has been an evolution in the true sense. It’s now about a lot of things besides computers—meditation, home remedies, music. (Alongside a post about previewing Kindle books for free, there’s a post today about why listening to music in the background can be a good thing.)
What’s commendable is that Lifehacker’s original motto stands. It’s still about making tips and advice accessible and straightforward... In the true spirit of learning!
